Why is Hasttvam expensive?
Because Hasttvam works directly with Artisans from remote locations across the country and bring products straight from their workshop to your doorstep. This involves a lot of travel and time to communicate, learn, understand and collaborate with the Artisans. Ajrakh or any artisanal craft for that matter, that involves hand work takes time, space, effort and skillset, which does not come by easily. We also use handloom fabric that is hand spun and woven, that is then hand printed in natural colors that are made by the artisans themselves.
What crafts do you work with?
We currently work with weavers in gujurat for our Kala cotton and artisans in kutch for a Ajrakh printing. We look forward to collaborate with various other artisans in future. If you know any artisans or would like to us work with any craft, let us know.
Can i get my Hasttvam customized?
Yes! We can customize to your own personal style and requirements. We take custom orders for weddings and other events. We take orders for Womenswear , Menswear and Kidswear. Prices of customized outfits will depend on the design and will quoted only after we understand your requirements. How soon will my order reach me?
Since we only work on a made-to-order model, please understand that we don't keep inventory and your order will be made from scratch which can take anywhere between 10-14 working days, with an additional shipping time of about 3-4 days for domestic orders and 5-6 days for international orders.
What if I like a piece that is out of stock now?
If a design you like is out of stock, it is because we don’t have that fabric anymore. If you like the style and are okay to go with a different fabric from our webshop, we’d willingly customize it for you! :)Are duties charged on international orders?
We have no control over duty charges. usually for smaller order there are no duty fee charged to the customer. But any duty charges are local to the law of the buyers country. These if charged have to be borne by the buyer.How do I know you’ve shipped my order?
